Porgy and Bess is a 1958 studio album by jazz vocalist and trumpeter Louis Armstrong and singer Ella Fitzgerald, collaborating on selections from George and Ira Gershwin's Porgy and Bess. The album is considered the most musically successful amongst the jazz vocal versions of the opera and was released to coincide with the 1959 movie version.
