Patrice Rushen (born Sep. 30, 1954) is an American jazz pianist and R&B singer. She is also a composer, record producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter & music director.
Patrice is the fourth, self-titled album. This was also first album with Elektra Records after making 3 jazz-oriented albums with Prestige Records. With this album Rushen changes genre from jazz to a more R&B/pop music style.
