Woomb - To Never Fear The Sun in details

WOOMB is one of the most promising new European alt-pop/art-pop projects, distinguished by its misty, airy atmosphere, deep emotional cinematic feel, and a strong visual identity. The project was created by producer and composer Georgi Linev (Kan Wakan) – one of the most recognizable Bulgarian names on the international scene. Their sound is often recommended to fans of Mazzy Star, Big Thief, Portishead, and Cocteau Twins, thanks to its empathetic vocal tone, minimalist details, and nuanced melancholy.

  • The project is among the 15 nominated European artists for the Music Moves Europe Awards, with WOOMB being the first and only Bulgarian act ever to reach a nomination in this prestigious selection.
  • WOOMB has collaborated with artists from the European electronic and alternative scene, including Daniel Avery — who created a remix of their latest track “Powerless” — and the Dutch artist Ludowic, with whom they are working on the remix of “Leroy St 4.”
  • The project is marked by a strong visual identity, integrated visual concepts, and distinctive art direction.
